Resolution of consumer disputes:
On 5 February 2016, the Czech Bar Association was authorised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to resolve consumer disputes out of court relating to disputes between lawyers and consumers arising from contracts for the provision of legal services (based on Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on consumer protection, as amended). This authorised entity's website is www.cak.cz.

Consumers may contact the Czech Bar Association if they are unable to settle a dispute with a lawyer directly. The Conciliation Commission of the Czech Bar Association is authorised to settle consumer disputes out of court.
